I am a 'displaced' Welshman and have been in the U.S.A. since 1997.

I have been fortunate to have lived in many countries, amongst many cultures, around the world, and have seen many wonderful sights - so now it is time to start capturing and sharing what I see and how I see it.

I am now at that stage in life where I can occasionally justify the things I wanted and couldn't buy 20 years ago. How many young chaps drive a Corvette or Porsche? The same goes with those big lenses.

I am more likely to critique a photo' if there are a some words from the owner explaining something about it - You know, just some words about the location, why you like the shot, ask for advice, whatever. However, I do appreciate the fact that there can be a language barrier. Also, I feel that replying to critiques is valuable and polite, even if I don't much care about the critique.

Photosig has introduced me to some very nice, whitty and genuinely talented people around the world - John in Japan, Luca in Italy, John in California and many more. This is a fun site to be enjoyed.
