I use Fuji Finepix S700 since august 2007. my 3rd DC. I have to say this: I took photography as a hobby at first, as I just love to capture the beauty of this place I live, called earth. I moved from the city to the country in 1997, there is so many things I notice since I was not born here....so much beauty! Also, I use photography as therapy. Yesterday, december 26th, 2007, a good friend of mine died of COPD. He encouraged me to go out there, breathe fresh air and keep on moving, as I also have COPD. I will push myself more to not fall into sedentarism. Gotta move, gotta take more pics, I will, Gaston, I will!!
I lately decided to stop trying flashy shots and show more natural stuff, as nature kindly presents it to me. I have not seen a train closely for almost 2 months now, so maybe I will get back shooting them when the weather is kind enough as to let them come back my way? I finally got one long enough to take some shots before it leaves :) I also help giving photo transformation lessons for members on a French photo group. I am glad to be able to share what I have learned here with those patient enough as to explain to me the hows of post processing
September 2008: Good, I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 now, the best I had so far, I will learn to use it well, and make better shots too, I hope:)
Life can be good!
update march 14, 2009
I am in a transition, not knowing where I will be going, soon to be childless, totally lost, so pardon me my sometimes silences.......
August 2009: Did the exibition, turned to be a nightmare, oil painting artists are NOT to be mixed with photographers! I certainly will be more careful about where I do my stuff next time, if I decede there is a next time. For now, I will keep to just enjoying photography, filling my commissions (people and parks folder) and doing the best I can while learning more...
