Retired living in Calgary Alberta. I love nature photography, but I seldom have the time (or the money)to spend enjoying it to the fullest. As one can see from my portfolio, I love wildlife....hummingbirds in particular. I am married, have two children (grown and successfully living their own lives) and three beautiful abyssinian cats who have me well trained to look after their every need. I am not big fan of "people" pictures. (much to the disgust of my wife) It seems everytime I attempt to take a picture of a group of people someone always has their mouth open or their eyes closed.....or worse!Artistic, I am not!

Equipment: Canon EOS 1D MKIII, Canon EOS 20D, Canon 17-35 f/2.8L, Canon 70-200 f/2.8L, Canon 100 mm f/2.8 macro, Canon 1.4 and 2X converters, Canon 12mm and 25 mm extension tubes, 2 Canon 580EZ and EX flash units and a few 35mm Canon cameras.
