Cafe Central, Vienna was taken in August 2002. My grandfather used to hang out in Vienna, perhaps in the 1920s and he almost certainly frequented this cafe. When I visited they were in the middle of renovating the place. If I had thought about it, I would have removed the cord and the litter. On the other hand, those leave a sad reminder of the lost elegance of the time and place. Tom Schneider Frederick, MD

Nice capturing of the "oldness" of the place, beautiful subtle colors especially on the ceiling. Nice overall composition, a bright sunny day would enhance the sense of the sun shining in through the windows. Also focus could be better, but overall a beautiful composition. (from Linda) Tom, I don't know if you use Adobe Elements or Photoshop on your images but if you don't you can use the software to enhance the colors and sharpen (from Mike).

Nice composition. If the windows lights were sunset, it would be much better.

Good sharp picture. I would crop of the first two light bulbs, they are a bit distracting.
