This is an excellent image! Great color and compostion. I really love the fact that there are people in the photo as it gives a sense of reality. It almost looks like a painting. Fantasic image!

I think your composition here is perfect - dark foreground tree trunks framing the shot - path winding off into the distance - people to give a sense of scale. You've also fit a lot of detail into this image, which in itself is an art. There's only one thing that prevents me from marking this 3TU. It's too green. The tree trunks in the middle distance are green, as well. And while this oversaturated green gives a special 'fairy tale' feeling to a forest view, (which I am actually quite fond of) I think less green also gives a spectacular image here. (Come to think of it, I'd also give 3TU if you just fixed the green trunks, since I do like the atmosphere produced by the green tint to the air.)

The colors are perfect. As was said before the near trees framing the shot are great and I think if they had much more detail they would detract from the frame and shorten the feel of the scene. The fog or humidity adds to the solitude but is far enough in the background not to mute the lighting. I can't explain it but I find myself wanting to see a lower perspective. Great capture, thanks for sharing!

very great capture, the light is fantastic.....that is what is the most attractive about the image. I would have liked to see bark details in the dark trees, but still , a beautiful image Jan

Nice shot - great composition and subject interest...as already mentioned, you have a spelling error (LEAFS) that screams at me. My mother was an English major...guess it rubbed off on me. Cheers - Dave

Superb composition and framing. Two and a half thumbs up. I agree that the red markers on the trail stakes are distracting. I think you could also pull some more detail and texture out of the tree trunks in the foreground. I think the trees are just a little too dark, although I go like the way you have used them to frame the shot.
Also, should be titled "When the LEAVES are falling" -- not leafs. :)
Great job!

Stunning. Thank you for sharing this wonderful photo. I like the scenery, the colors and the composition. The two persons we see I could live without but they give a sense of the 'grandeur' of the trees.

Very lovely shot of Autumn Jan! Beautiful fall foilage color that goes well
with those black branches. There are some little red bands on the left side that kind of catch the eyes a bit that may be should be cloned out ? Just my opinion, thanks for sharing
