Nice capture of mood and feeling. Good depth of field.

A couple of minor things would make the a much better image IMO. I scrolled down to write this comment, and as I did I watched the photo. When the top part of the photo was 'cropped' to just below the ears, so that no white was showing at the top, it looked much, much better. I also found the partial red color to be distracting. And last but not least - the reflection from the flash on the dogs leg is distracting. I would have also cropped the left side of the photo so that you see either all of the paw, or none of the toe nail.

Despite all this, I still gave it two stars because you captured the mood, which is much harder than the technical stuff, which could all be corrected in post production. Good photo.

Just one question - How do you keep all the dog hair off the furniture? Especially black hair on white furniture?
