Hi! And it is a very good capture indeed! A good blurred background and sharp eyes of the bear. Of course, as suggested below a close-up with 50mm would be much better! ;-) Jose Paulo

Had you used a wide angle lens and sent us an uncropped version I would have given you 3TU. But no, you had to use a 400mm lens from a 'safe' distance. I suggest a reshoot. I think a nice gold reflector just outside the frame would bring out detail in his fur. I'd also like to see catchlights in his eyes - perhaps a large softbox to the right side of him. Damn, it's easy to critique images. Now where did I leave my potato chips?

Adam, you are so right! I had to fire two of my assistants for messing up. I told them to use a wide angle, but they declined. And my post production guy - what was he thinking? It's hard to find good help these days.

Boring - a black bear smiling and posing in the wild - I see that everyday, hee. It is a pretty cool shot, it has a Disney like quality - but this, I guess is a not so cutely teddy bear, nice nice. ;o)-max-
